Dig It!

[Mahalia]

It had been two weeks and the group had finally made it to the road that branched off, leading to either Anino Tunnels or Vitis City. When they got to the branching road, nobody was surprised to find nothing special. There was only a wide road, wide enough to fit three, maybe four wagons on, which wound through the forest. Just before they were about to enter the Vitis area, Maha had the group, consisting of Viviana, herself and Hattarou, change direction. She turned right from the path that would lead them to Vitis City within hours.

The sandal-clad had some of her own adventuring in mind before she decided to go for Gym Badges.

"Alright guys," she said, as she lowered the map from her orange mopped face and turned around to look at them. Maha walked in the middle, Hattarou to her right and Viviana to her left. The tangerine haired girl continued, "We're going to Medius City first. I hope that isn't a problem? There's something I need... to do there..." she explained.

"Eevee!" the brown Evolution Pokémon cheered, from her position on top of the tangerine haired Pokémon Trainer's shoulders. Maha hadn't returned Perona to her Poké Ball ever since the last battle with Hatarou, knowing that she preferred to remain outside. Maha petted the evolution Pokémon as she continued on with her journey.

As the trio of Pokémon Trainers continued through the fields, soon enough, the grass began to disappear somewhat. Noticing it, the bikini clad Mahalia looked up and spotted something sandy and hollow off in the distance. Glancing at the map again, she smiled.

"Hey, there's Anino Tunnels over there! They're said to harbor Rock and Steel-type Pokmon, maybe even Psychic-types! We can do a lot of training and adventuring there before heading off to Medius!" she said.

[Hatarou]

Hatarou had been travelling with Viviana and Maha for at least two weeks now. Hattarou had been having fun the whole time. Meeting new people and seeing the sights. it definetly was worth it! Maha had pointed at a cave and said something about having to do something. All he said was "Well ok! Ok With me! Plus my team could use a few more friends! Ok let's go!!" He just marched forward as he released his Piplup. "Hey Iso you'll be very useful for this place ok." Piplup than angrily scolded him, "Piplup-Pip-pip!!!!" Which means "Hey! I'm always useful!" Hatarou laughed as he petted the little thing.

[Viviana]

Traveling with he bunch was truly and amazing experience as she got to meet pokemon she had never seen before, so it was really cool to meet them face to face. Normally her Kumasyun liked to be inside of his pokeball but for today he was feeling a little clingy so he decided to travel on viviana's head for the time being until further notice I suppose. Moments later, Espeon, Eevee, Gible and Scyther came out of there pokeballs because they wanted to see where they were traveling to aswell. I guess it was tiring staying inside a pokeball for a while, but atleast it was fun. The only one that didn't come out was Wailmer, but he didn't like dry terrains as much as the next guy.

[Maximillion]

As the three trainers walk together, they do not notice that they are being followed by a pokemon... The pokemon was following them for a while with only reason to steal their equipment... And after a while, when the pokemon found the chance, it came out of the darkness of the tunnels and stole Hatarou's hat much to each pleasure. Then, it quickly flew away, deeper in the cave... However, as it stole the hat, it could be seen. Apparently, it was a wild Gligar.

[Mahalia]

Maha was too engrossed in her map to notice the stalking Pokémon, however she did get annoyed slightly as almost the entirety of Viviana's team came out of their Poké Balls. While having one or two Pokémon around was a good thing, having a whole team out made them look like a small band of nomads or something.

Before Maha could open her mouth, though, suddenly Eevee ran off after the Gligar, who Maha realized a second too soon had stolen Hatta's hat. "What the--?"

"Vee!" she growled as she leapt off Mahalia's shoulder, scurrying off behind the FlyScorpion Pokémon that had stolen the hat of her mistress' friend.

"Perona!" Maha called, before quickly closing her map and pocketing it in her bag as she sprinted off behind her Evolution Pokémon, off into the Anino Tunnels.

[Hatarou]

Hatarou noticed Viviana had released all her pokemon out. He didn't mind much but she might want to put Wailmer back though. He didn't notice the sneaking pokemon creeping up on him. In a flash Hatta was jumped and his Bandanna was taken. "Hey!!! That's mine!" He looked up to see that a wild gengar had taken his bandanna and had fled into the cave. Hatta hair was short and messy and was displeased to have it's gone. "Guys! We need to get it back! Come on Iso!" With that said Hatarou had ran into the cave trying to follow the Gengar.

[Viviana]

As her pokemon stopped for a quick breather, Viviana noticed a sudden blur. She couldn't all the way make out what it was, but by the time she saw it steal Hatta's hat and glide into the cave, she caught the slightest glimpse of it and saw that it was a Gligar. She took out her pokedex and saw Gligars type and put all of her pokemon except for Kumasyun, Gible, and Scyther. She needed them for type advantage usage. "Okay on my way!"

[Mahalia]

"Ee~!"

Eevee cheered as it landed in front of the Gligar, possibly shocking him, having used her animalistic senses to track the scent of Hattarou's bandana. She was followed closely by a sprinting Mahalia who quickly stopped behind her favorite evolution

As the three came well deep inside the tunnel, Maha noticed that Viviana had not pocketed her Pokémon, she figured that the girl may have intended to capture the Gligar. Whether that was true or not, since she already had a complete team, Maha could leave for time to tell but until then she faced the Gligar with her arms crossed over her chest.

"What's that Pokémon?" Maha wondered out aloud, opening her own Poké Dex.

"Gligar, the FlyScorpion Pokémon. It glides using the membrane attatched to its arms and legs, and attacks the base of its prey with its claws."

"Gligar, eh?" Maha muttered, snapping her Poké Dex shut, pocketing it and turning to glare at the purple bat-like creature. "Alright, you! Hand over Hatta's bandanna! Its not yours!" she yelled at the Gligar.

"Eevee, Ee~!" Eevee reaffirmed her master's statement, in Pokétongue.

[Hatarou]

Hatta had taken his pokedex out and scanned the fleeing Gligar, "Gligar, the FlyScorpion Pokemon, It usually clings to cliffs. When it spots its prey, it spreads its wings and glides down to attack. Hatarou rolled his eyes and scoffed, "Oh ya thats useful info Dex..." As the three got closer to it he saw the Gligar landed. He called out "I Got this it's mine! Piplup use pound on it and get My Bandanna back!" The piplup pumped it's arms and yelled out, "Pip!" Which means "Got it boss!" The piplup jump and attempted to pound the Gligar.

[Viviana]

Viviana stared at her pokemon as they stared at her back. She put scyther and gible in their pokeballs but left kumasyun out. She smiled as it communicated with her. She had a sense that this Gligar did not want to attack us, it just wanted to play with us. As that happened Viviana, not knowing what she was doing, her body began to move on its own as she ran to the gligar and threw a bouncy ball in the air as she yelled, "Wait don't attack it" obviously that was directed toward Maha and Hatta, "Hey gligar do you want to play with us!" she smiled as kumasyun tried to go on with her plan.

[Maximillion]

The fly scorpion pokemon flew upwards, dodging the pound attack of the Piplup that had just aimed it in order to defeat it and retrieve the bandana of the trainer. Then, it moved its tongue outside in an annoying way in order to piss off the three trainers, ignoring Viviana's call to play with them. Afterwards, it started flying deep inside the cave... The pokemon thought that it had stolen what it wanted and that it would not be chased... And it was probably wrong...

[Hatarou]

Seeing Gligar run off had seriously pissed off Hatarou and Piplup, so much though that Piplup had a small tantrum. "Pi-Piplup-Pip!" which in human meant, "That little bastard, how dare he mock me!!!" Hatarou went to his pmsing pokemon and picked it up by the waist than he said, "don't you worry we'll get it!" Hatarou than looked at the two women and than said Viviana, "Sorry Vivi I guess it just wanted my bandanna..." Hatarou than looked forward and started moving forward. He found it a little weird where were the other pokemon?

He had started running and their had been a fork in the road. He stopped running and shouted out. "Ok you two Go to the right i'll go to the left!" He had gone off by himself in an attempt to find his Bandanna and maybe some other pokemon as well.

[Love]

Ar..on? An Aron said waking up from its sleep in a small hole and crawling out minding its own business. Suddenly it got stepped on by a trainer who was running the Aron wincing in slight pain and then angrily chasing after the trainer and then managing to get in front of him which would cause the trainer to trip over the small pokemon and drop his piplup on a hard rock. Aron!! it said angrily it was obviously pissed and was ready for a fight as it started running towards the downed trainer with a tackle..

Meanwhile Gligar flew deeper into the cave through many twists and turns and finally stopping on its nest placing the banana on it and then going to sleep as it was sure the trainer would never find it.

[Hatarou]

Hatarou than once again had tripped on a pokemon and had hit his head. As signature Piplup had jumped off and did a small flip in the air landing in a cool fashion. "Ow..." Hatarou than got up and looked at what had tripped him. "Hmm? An Aron? Ok Dex Explain?" He took out his pokedex and scanned the small pokemon, "Aron, The Iron Armor pokemon, This Pokémon has a body of steel. To make its body, Aron feeds on iron ore that it digs from mountains. Occasionally, it causes major trouble by eating bridges and rails." "Hmmm interesting... You look really cool!" He saw Gligar go ahead and be lost in the darkness of ahead. "Damn well... I can't wait, but i can't let you go!" He knew Piplup didn't have the moveset to defeat a steel tupe so it was worth a chance. He released his Luxor, "Ok Luxor i want you to rush over there and use thunder fang!" The small Shinx had charged forward and let static erupt from it's mouth and attempted to bite the aron.

[Love]

Ron Aron said unfazed by the Shinx and running right at it taking its Thunder Fang head on and replying with its own Tackle. It then jumped back and shook its head shaking off some sparks and then looked even more determined than ever as it began to run forward again however this time instead of using Tackle it prepared to use Mud-Slap on the poor Shinx. It was evident that the Aron was not a push over and most likely was formerly owned by a trainer as its battle style was very coordinated and to the point much unlike a normal wild pokemon's battle style. RON RON it said as the mud started to gather in its mouth as it closed in on the shinx.

[Hatarou]

Hatarou had noticed the mud lining the mouth of the Aron. Hatarou immediately yelled out, "Luxor! Jump back! Quickly!" Shinx quickly jumped back and ran away from the Aron. The Aron had unleashed it's Mud Slap and thankfully missed Shinx. "Ok! Shinx while it is recuperating tackle the little guy!" "Shinx" which had meant, "You Got it! I'll handle it!" It than had charged toward the Aron before it could notice it.

[Shiz]

The Aron anticipated the attack - but it decided not to move. Instead, it stood it's ground, smirking triumphantly as Shinx closed in. It grunted in effort as the electric type rammed into the side of it's hard body: pushing against the creature with all of it's weight; causing both of them to fall back. Using the momentum of the fall to it's advantage, Aron dug it's stubby yet pointed and metallic feet into the ground, before digging up some dirt and sending it flying towards the fallen Shinx with another mud slap attack. Clearly the recent tackle didn't faze the Aron in the slightest - and taking the type differences into consideration: Shinx was at an incredibly disadvantage. You might want to think of something - and do it quick!

[Hatarou]

Shinx had been covered ion mud and felt the damage hard. 'Lux! Don't give up! Uh uh uh Shinx use leer! That's we can do for now!" Shinx Than shook off the mud and felt the static in it;s body flux a little over the Earth on it. Shinx than used leer on the aron giving it a cold stare of determination. Shinx so far had never given up and it wasn't going to start now. Shinx had on it's own started to cdharge at Aron trying to tackle it as it leered on the Steel pokemon.

[Shiz]

The Aron was frightened; Shinx had quite the look to him. With it's guard thrown - it was open to an attack! And sure enough, Shinx lunged right in with a tackle attack, taking advantage of this opportunity. The steel pokemon cried it's name out loudly as the attack hit: it clearly did more damage than it had anticipated. It quickly got everything under control however, and moved in with a tackle attack - pushing Shinx back. It growled territorially; it had no intention of losing to the electric type. "Ron!" The creature cried, lunging forward for another tackle attack.

[Hatarou]

Hatarou saw that his Shinx attacked on it's own account, and had hit the little Aron hard. However Hatarou noticed that the little Aron wasn't so keen on losing easily, and had started to rush at Shinx. "Lux Tackle the pokemon to counter it! Than when you have it off course use thunder fang!" Shinx had tackled the tackling Aron and had thrown it to it's side[AUTOHIT]. It had than rolled off to the side and Shinx had ran to the pokemon and as static had erupted from his mouth and attempted to use thunder fang on the downed pokemon. As he watched all of this Hatarou had tooken out a pokeball from his pocket and prepared to capture the Aron.

[Shiz]

Once again, the tackle didn't do much damage whatsoever. Leer had only thrown the dual type off it's course once; and it wouldn't let it happen again. The force was enough to throw it onto it's side however, letting Shinx pass it's defenses! This pokemon was tired - but it hadn't been quite enough to knock it out. Hell, Shinx was closer to being knocked out than Aron was; especially with the mud slap attacks. Speaking of mud slap... Aron countered the thunder fang with the ground type attack! Shinx was hit - hard - and was suddenly covered in the stuff! It's electric types would be somewhat weaker, and now it's accuracy was down... Aron lifted itself off of the ground, somewhat shaky. Why wasn't Shinx going down!?

[Hatarou]

Aron was refusing to go down just as badly as Shinx was. It had gotten a Mud Slap to the face and it's sight had been blurred. "Shi-" which means, "Why won't you just go down!" Hatarou saw the two struggling to stay up and started to think that this was some what cruel. "Lux... You sure you wanna keep on going?" It shook it's head on a yes moment. "Well fine...." He knew the match was coming to an end. Shinx had started rubbing it's eyes and regained an iota of sight back, but to Shinx that was Good enough. It stomped it's legs down and waited for a command. "Shinx!"

[Shiz]

The moment Shinx took was the last of the battle. He gave Aron just enough time to launch out another mud slap attack, and managed to get hit square in the face with it. It was painful, that much was certain. But it was just enough to knock Shinx out. At the same time however, Aron fell to the ground, exhausted and completely out of it. It lay there beside Shinx, unconscious and ready to be caught. You're lucky that it was knocked out at all, though - wild pokemon don't hesitate to attack a trainer after having been threatened in the first place.

[Mahalia]

Mahalia had been watching the battle and she had to admit that Hattarou fought great. She cursed when he was unable to catch his Pokémon. "Come on Hatta..." she bit down on her bottom lip, cursing their luck. That was one strong Aron and she wanted her friend to catch it.

"Eevee!" Eevee yelped, drawing Maha's attention towards the opposite direction.

"What's that, Perona?" Maha asked, before she realized what Eevee was trying to say. Of course! The stupid Gligar was getting away with Hatta's hat. Narrowing her eyes and clenching her fists, Maha turned around to look at Hatta.

"Hatta, stay here and keep trying to catch the Pokémon you want! I'ma go get your hat!" she then turned to Eevee. "Come on, Perona!" she then ran, chasing after the Gligar.

"Vee~!" Eevee agreed as she sprinted after her sandal-clad mistress, quickly coming after her and beginning to lead her towards the FlyScorpion Pokémon, using her keen sense of smell to keep track of it.

[Hatarou]

Hatarou saw as the two pokemon faint. He enlarged the pokeball he had in his hand and walked toward the 2 Pokemon. He tapped the Aron with the pokeball and laid the moving ball on the ground. He than returned his Shinx and put his ball away in his pocket. "Hmm...." Now he had waited until the pokeball to catch the aron and went to pick up his Piplup and than waited to see if he had got a new friend or not. Time was of the essence even at that moment Hatarou's hair was getting chilly from the absence of heat usually generated by the bandanna.
