The Search for...!

[Asuka]

Asuka wanted one pokemon in particular. Snubbull; she knew the law of Murphy... She most likely wouldn't find the cursed creature now that she'd set doing so as her goal. Hopefully it wouldn't take up the rest of her week, though - since she was eager on challenging the first gym leader and destroying him or her hands down with Drifloon. God, she wanted to train so badly... But capturing the pokemon she required came first and foremost; Snubbull would be hers. She walked into the farm, sniffing around with a scowl. God, the stench. Drifloon and Hitomoshi stared forward with vacant eyes, both indifferent as to what was coming.

[Maximillion]

Instead of finding a Snubbull, the trainer got to spot something much different... Very different. Instead of a dog, it was a cat. It was Meowth the cat pokemon. The wild pokemon was walking in front of the trainer, without showing any aggresive altitude. In fact, it was taking a stroll at the farm in order to relax from its daily problems. Now, it is up to the trainer to decide whether she wants to battle it or not...

[Asuka]

Asuka blinked... It was the perfect pokemon to battle. Not. She wasn't interested in battling this one: cats annoyed her for some odd reason. At any rate, she continued on her way - with Drifloon floating high above her, looking for the Snubbull in question. "Hitomoshi~" The candle smiled as she bounced around mid air, eyes blank yet curious at the same time. "It shouldn't take long..." Asuka muttered to herself as she rolled her itouch around in her hand. The farm smelled bad, but it was full of normal type pokemon... The perfect place to train her ghost types.

[Maximillion]

As soon as the trainer left from the place where the Meowth was at, another wild pokemon happened to appear right in front of her... The pokemon was a dog, just like the Snubbull she was searching for. However, the dog seemed to be having bad intentions about the ghost type pokemon that the trainer had. When Asuka and Litwick were not looking the pokemon jumped towards it and attacked it with a Bite attack right on the head for no reason at all, causing it much damage. Then, it moved in front of the trainer and said "Lillipup!". The pokemon was a wild Lillipup...

[Asuka]

Asuka's eyebrow twitched, and she scowled at the annoying mutt. "Drifloon - Constrict." The balloon moved forward, outstretching his stringy arms towards the creature, grabbing ahold of it firmly. Then, before the creature had a chance to bite him - Drifloon tossed the pup with all of his might into the air. "Gust." Asuka added, pouting slightly at the wasted time. Fortunately, the battle would be short - she'd be surprised if the canine managed to survive the fall in itself, much less the gust that would send it eve higher into the sky. As if on cue, Drifloon took a deep breath, before exhaling and sending a huge gust of wind towards the 'flying' normal type. Litwick groaned in the background, sniveling slightly due to the pain.

(Auto hit - Constrict)

[Kenji]

Lillipup didn't know what to do, could this be the end? The constriction was becoming tighter and tighter, making it harder to breathe by the second. The puppy's vision became blurry and dark, it was going under. Then, suddenly the constricting feeling was gone, it could breathe again. Lillipup barked happily as it flew through the air and sweet, sweet oxygen rushed into its lungs once again. Then, there was too much wind, much too much wind. What the hell was going on?

Lillipup looked around frantically before being hit head on with the Gust attack, which sent it higher into the air. The puppy fell to the ground with a loud and painful sound. Lillipup was hurting, but it refused to give up to this balloon. The dog slowly got back on its feet before charging forward, fangs opened. It ran in a zigzag formation, making it hard to launch an accurate attack before leaping into the air and lunging at Drifloon with a bite attack.

[Asuka]

Drifloon didn't even take the time to roll his blank, dark, beady eyes before unleashing yet another gust attack in an attempt to throw the incoming canine back- causing Asuka to wince slightly, covering her face with her sleeved arms. The powerful wind simply blew right through Hitomoshi, who seemed unfazed by the entire ordeal at this point, despite having just cried her eyes out a moment before. Damn ghosts were creepy when it came to their mood swings. Drifloon floated upwards, out of the canine's reach. "Loon~" The dual ghost/flying type mocked, lifting up his stringy arms and waving them around, before launching another gust attack. It seemed impossible for the normal type to win, considering there was no way it could reach Drifloon, who was flying. Hitomoshi sat on her trainer's shoulder; Asuka wasn't the type to hesitate in kicking the dog away if it approached her.

[Kenji]

Lillipup was able to dodge the first gust, thanks to his zigzag running pattern. For a moment he thought that this might actually work, perhaps the annoying balloon was slipping, or even getting tired. Then, as he lunged forward, the annoying Driffloon floated up and out of reach. Followed by the dodge was a solid gust of wind that brought Lillipup to the ground hard. The pokemon took this chance to make a run for it, and didn't stop until he made it to the next town.

Not a minute later, a wild Bunneary came from the brush and began dancing in the middle of the field, singing off key happily. Bun, bun, bun, BUNNEARY! It walked up to Asuka, or danced rather, and pulled on her leg, hoping the girl would dance with it.

[Asuka]

With a sigh, Asuka pulled her leg away from the thing, and went on her way - Drifloon and Hitomoshi floating just by her head. Buneary weren't even cute: she had no idea why they were so popular with girls. They were actually too hyper, and seriously got annoying. Hopefully the creature wouldn't follow her... She had enough of meddlesome normal types for one day - and she barely just got here. That damn Snubbull better show itself soon, or she'll just nuke the damn farm by spamming gust and fire spin. Yeah... That would bring it out of it's hiding place. She snickered at the thought, before yawning, stretching her arms out above her head casually.

[Kenji]

Buneary sat on the ground and cried, stupid Asuka wouldn't dance with it. However, the sound was quickly gone as the trainer left the scene. Suddenly, off to her right the sound of stomping and hard breathing came. A Bouffalant came charging through the underbrush and stopped about 2 feet short of running into Asuka. It lowered its head, showing its impressive horns, and looked ready to charge. However, before it did another pokemon arrived on the scene, to the left of Asuka. A tauros, this pokemon did the same thing, lowering its head, ready to charge. Obviously Asuka had just walked into the middle of a fight, uh-oh.

[Asuka]

Well, normally a trainer would probably get scared and run, or at least freak and lash out randomly. Asuka let out more of a mocking hysterical grunt, as Drifloon and Hitomoshi immediately floated forward, staring blankly at the stupid bulls. The creature weren't exactly the smartest around - attacking two ghosts that were pretty much immune to their physical attacks. Of course, somehow Asuka had only been encountering pokemon with one god damn super effective attack, so she held up her pokedex and allowed it to narrate it's confirmation. Stupid fate, always sticking something up her ass.

Drifloon took a deep breath, but held it in for just a moment... In that moment's time, Hitomoshi spun around dramatically, before the flame on the top of her head burst out; spiraling towards each of the bull pokemon at a surprising pace. Finally Drifloon exhaled, accompanying the fire spin attack with a gust of his own; fueling the fire attack and causing it to spread out, consuming the entire area in a fit of fiery tornadoes.

[Kenji]

The bulls reared back in surprise of the massive fire. They stepped back and were ready to charge again when suddenly a shadow passed over the field and the two bulls looked up. They shuddered with fear, turned, and ran. As the fire died out, several loud calls came from up above, Row!!! FEAROW!! Upon looking up, Asuka would find 3 Fearow circling her and her pokemon, ready to attack if they made a move. Apparently she had wandered into their nesting place, and now they were unbelievably pissed.

[Asuka]

"Well, shit." Asuka huffed, crossing her arms over her chest in aggravation. So long as the damn birds didn't literally poop on her, she would simply... Yeah, get the fuck out. As if her pokemon could handle three fully grown pokemon. With a bit of frustrated groaning, the girl turned, before dashing towards safety. Safety was... Whatever the largest structure was around here? Surely the birds wouldn't go so far as to chase her into a building. If they did, she would just have to spam fire spin attacks to escape. Fumbling with her pokedex, she listened is it narrated Fearow's information. She wanted to catch one pretty bad, just for the hell of having one - but she knew perfectly well she wouldn't be able to at her level.

Drifloon and Hitomoshi hovered beside her silently as she hid, seemingly indifferent in regards to their situation. "Stupid ass birds, stupid ass normal types, stupid ass-" ..The girl continued to rant quietly to herself as she waited for a good enough moment to come back out and continue her search.

[Hatarou]

The Fearows had grew bored and just circled a few more times and finally decided to fly away when they felt as if the human had escaped. Unfortunately another pokemon had wandered around. It however didn't care for the person and had started to graze on some of the grass. It was a Miltank and it seem really laxed and calm just eating as if a normal day. Completely oblivious to the person near by.

[Asuka]

Crawling out of her hiding place, Asuka exhaled in relief as she looked up to see the clear skies; no Fearow in her sight. Standing and patting the dirt and such off of her tush, she sighed, before turning to look around. This farm was pretty big, and she couldn't deny that it was a kick ass place for training. "Not a Snubbull, but it'll do for some target practice." She muttered to herself, having spotted the fat cow not too far from her. Drifloon moved forward, reaching out with his stringy excuses of arms in an attempt at a constrict attack. Asuka yawned; it was too early to be out. She was tempted to start traveling at night..

[Hatarou]

Miltank was just you know eating some grass, minding it's own business when a small little balloon started to grasp it. The miltank didn't like the little thing squeezing it and it did what any normal cow would do. It fell to its side and crushed the little Balloon. It than started to roll abit, yup it had started to use rollout and Drifloon was caught in the middle of it. After a few rolls the driflon was able to get out of the squashing weight of the rolling Miltank. It however just kept slowly rolling around the grassy land. "Moo..." It started to have fun rolling around and just kept mooing.

[Asuka]

Asuka sighed, rubbing her face with the palm of her hand, as she peeked through her spread fingers. Okay... It was kind of cute, but it's oblivious nature completely pissed her off. It didn't really seem to be interested in her or Drifloon, or even Hitomoshi for that matter. As such, she gestured for Drifloon to follow her once more, before walking off in the opposite direction. It wasn't really worth it anyway; she just came for that one pokemon, and for training on the side. Drifloon made a weird noise, shaking slightly as if to get the dirt off of his rubbery exterior. "Be thankful you didn't pop." Asuka snorted, and Drifloon expanded in response, with a huge pout; his 'x' of a mouth stretching out angrily. Hitomoshi snickered, her flame growing and then shrinking with each inhale and exhale. Strange... Since when did ghost types breathe?

[Hatarou]

Out if the blue a doduo appeared, oh boy it was having a good time, for the first time in a long while the two heads weren't fighting. They had just been eating a few berries from a bush to by some odd chance one of the heads saw the trainer. This startled the twin headed pokemon and this had made the pokemon angry. It ran up to the trainer and squacked in it's face. And adobe head did that the other attempted to peck one of the pokemon that laid behind the trainer.

[Asuka]

What kind of person would appreciate someone or something getting in their face like that? Definitely not Asuka. She simply backed away slightly, before letting Hitomoshi take over. She didn't feel much when one of the head's beaks jabbed her right on her chest, but she still didn't appreciate the fact that they even attacked her in the first place. It still kinda stung a bit though. She moved forward, cheeks puffed out as her tiny eyes sparkled. Asuka, being the creature's trainer and all, backed away knowingly as she waited for the candle pokemon to lash out like a mad man. As if on cue, Hitomoshi charged in with a fire spin attack; trapping Doduo in a fiery tornado that was almost sure to burn the damn bird. Mmm, chicken. Drifloon sat on his trainers shoulder taking a deep breath, getting a powerful gust ready.

(Auto hit - Fire Spin, Drifloon was using focus energy, not gust.)

[Hatarou]

Doduo was caught in the ring of fire. "Do! Duo!" The two heads grunted in the sheer pain. It was stuck in the ring of fire and couldn't move. It had started to come in and out of conciousness. "Do...." One of the heads started to faint. The other head started to peck at the other head attempting to wake it up. It failed and the second head started to faint as well. The Fire Spin had faded and the Doduo fell to the ground, It had been defeated.

[Asuka]

The chicken thing must have been really weak to have fainted so quickly. Asuka might've caught it otherwise, but under these circumstances... She simply wasn't interested. "Good job." She smiled up at Hitomoshi, who lingered by her trainer's side. The candle giggled and curtsied in response, clearly ecstatic about being praised. Drifloon simply sighed, finding it rather unfortunate that he was getting all into it for nothing. Oh well, it would be his turn as soon as they found that damn canine like creature that his person sought. "Let's keep going~" Asuka exhaled, stomping in another direction, wondering where the pokemon would most likely be found...

[Lunus]

It seems that none of the pokemon here pleased you and as you continue on your path you see a number of them playing. There are two aipom in a copse of trees and a smeargle painting a barn nearby. But if you squinted hard enough you could see a haze of pinky purple in the distance, it could be a snubble? The question was, however, would you stay here for some training and risk the chance of it escaping? Or go forward and see if it was in fact a snubble, knowing full well it could be your mind playing tricks on you.

[Asuka]

She shrugged, going towards the pinkish purple thing in the distance. She really wasn't interested in anything else around here, so she may as well just go to check if it were what she was looking for in the first place. "Drifloon~" The balloon expanding and shrunk in anticipation, small beady eyes narrowing as it approached what it thought to be the pokemon his trainer was searching for.

[Lunus]

What luck! it turns out it was a snubble but as you step on a twig the snapping sound causes it to run into a copse of trees. Naturally you would give chase but as the snubbull reached about two meters in it used fire fang! Suddenly the whole forest is ablaze and it isn't safe any more, only flitwik can proceed and you won't be able to give it orders? Would it be more productive to chase this one or find another?

[Asuka]

Well... It wasn't really a forest. They were in the middle of a farm, after all. Most of it was flat, treeless land. As such, Asuka allowed Hitomoshi to wander in, while Drifloon minimized himself and wandered in along with her. Asuka, left alone, simply sat on a nearby fence and waited patiently. That Snubbull was worth it, after all.

The two pokemon would search for the snubbull while in their miniature forms - an attempt to avoid detection so that they could get a sneak attack in. Drifloon mainly used minimize to avoid getting hit by the fire, though.
