In Search of A Dragon

[Kenji]

Kenji had arrived on Dominus Island with one goal in mind, catch a kick ass dragon to add to his team. He would soon be back to the island to take on the final gym leader, but right now he was just here to train his team and catch some dragons. Kenji walked through the island, leaving town and looking for some pokemon. He figured the stronger, wild pokemon would keep to the wilds. They would mark out territory for themselves, and not be bothered by petty human actions. Kenji called out Flygon and climbed aboard the ground/dragon's back as they rose into the air. Kenji scanned the island, looking for any sign of pokemon.

[Maximillion]

As the trainer arrived at the floating island, a bunch of wild pokemon looked at him while hiding themselves. They were kind of afraid of humans. However, there was a pokemon that was not afraid of Kenji. A wild pokemon with a long purple body and several spots on it, that looked very much like a snake... It was a wild seviper. The pokemon moved towards him and said "Seviper!" as it launched a Poison Sting attack towards him in order to make him go away.

[Kenji]

Kenji had been on Flygon's back when the snake made its move, Move! Kenji said to flygon who took to the sky in an instant, narrowly dodging the attack. Kenji scanned the pokemon with his pokedex and read the data, Poison type huh? I know just the pokemon to fight you. Kenji said as he dropped a pokeball to the ground and in a flash Metagross appeared. "META META METAGROSS!!!" Metagross exclaimed as he unleashed a psychic on the snake pokemon. Wow, someone is ready to fight. Kenji chuckled as he watched the two pokemon duke it out.

[Maximillion]

Seviper was surprised to see that the trainer used a Metagross to counter it. That was a pretty smart strategy, indeed. However, the pokemon would not let itself lose to it no matter what. As the Psychic attack was being used to it, it slammed the ground with its tail giving force to itself to jump high and dodge and after it landed on the ground it started moving its tail around like it was dancing. In the begining, it looked like it was not doing anything particular at all, however it was actually using Swords Dance! After it was finished it said "SE~~~~VIPER!" and moved towards Metagross in order to strike it with a Night Slash that aimed for the "X" that was formed on its face.

[Kenji]

Metagross smiled as Seviper lashed out and his "X" began to glow purple, METAGROSS!!!! The pokemon bellowed as he released a massive, close range psychic attack at the snake before its night slash attack landed. Metagross' speed stat just beat Seviper's by about 5, he was lucky, still that didn't stop the psuedo legendary pokemon from following up with some overkill and a solid bullet punch aimed for the snake's head. Kenji just smiled and chuckled to Flygon, Metagross is a freaking tank.

[Maximillion]

After being struck by the Psychic attack the pokemon received so much damage that it did not have the strength to move to dodge and so it took the damage from the previous Bullet Punch attack as well. As soon as it got hit, it was sent several meters backwards due to the strength of the pseudo legendary pokemon... Knowing that it could not do anything, the wild pokemon shouted "SE~~~~~VIPER!" and run away from the trainer and his strong team, ensuring its own safety.

[Kenji]

Kenji smiled, Remind me not to piss you off Metagross. He retrieved Metagross's pokeball and in a beam of scarlet energy, returned the pokemon. So what do you think Flygon? Where would the best place to find a dragon pokemon be? This is dominus island, you'd think they would have an abundance of dragons. Flygon just shrugged, having no idea where to go. Kenji shook his head, Gee, thanks for the help buddy. Flygon snorted and the two flew off, scanning the treetops for any sign of movement or a dragon pokemon.

[Maximillion]

As the trainer was flying in the sky, he could see an area on which a sandstorm was taking place. The sandstorm was extremely powerful, much powerful than an ordinary sandstorm. Could this be caused naturally or by a pokemon? Will the trainer investigate it or not? It is up to the trainer to decide whether he would do it or not... He could find a strong pokemon or a weak pokemon in the sandstorm, or even nothing, but it would probably worth it to give it a try and see what is going on with that sandstorm.

[Kenji]

Kenji looked down at the sandstorm, as did Flygon, Well, it's probably nothing, but it's worth checking out I suppose. Besides, it's not like a sandstorm hurts you. Flygon nodded and descended as Kenji reached into his bag and pulled out a pair of goggles. He put them on over his head and tightened the strap that held them on his face, You're lucky, you have goggles pretty much built into your face, I'm not so lucky. Kenji said to Flygon as they entered the sandstorm, they kept to the air though, scanning the ground in case something popped out and attacked.

[Maximillion]

It was very difficult to see through the Sandstorm for the trainer. However, he could see if he concentrated at a spot carefully. In the middle of the Sandstorm, there were two pokemon. There were two wild Hippopotas that were battling with each other. The Sandstorm came from the Sand Stream ability of one of the two... However, something weird was going on. The other Hippopotas seemed to have an advantage over the battle and its moves looked quite stronger, while it did not seem to produce any Sandstorm at all...

[Kenji]

Kenji looked at the two hippos and pulled out his pokedex, Hm...they're ground types, not interested. Let's go Flygon! Flygon nodded, Kenji had been shouting, but in this sandstorm it sounded like he was whispering to his pokemon. Flygon turned and flew back out the way they had come, through the sandstorm and back into open air once again. Kenji took off his goggles and put them back in his bag, still searching below for any signs of powerful pokemon, I hope we find something soon. Kenji sighed and Flygon nodded in agreement.

[Maximillion]

As the trainer flies with his Flygon, a wild and strong pokemon appeared right in front his eyes. The pokemon was colorful, with wings around its arms and a long tail. Apparently, it was a wild Archeops. The pokemon said "Archeops!!!!" as it breathed out towards Kenji and his pokemon. In the begining, it looked like the breath was something normal... But in fact it was a Dragonbreath, a move that was super effective against dragons. What will the trainer and his Flygon do?

[Kenji]

Kenji looked back at the sandstorm as the Archeops appeared and pursued them. FLYGON, TURN AND USE SANDSTORM!!! Kenji yelled quickly as the Archeops launched a dragonbreath at them. Flygon looked back, but didn't have time to turn, so instead he pushed his wings back hard, unleashing a sandstorm behind him which intercepted the dragonbreath and stopped it. Nice job Flygon, Kenji said as he put on his goggles and the sandstorm raged around him, most likely blocking the opposing pokemon's sight, now let's hit him with a faint attack. Flygon nodded and they disappeared and reappeared behind the Archeops. Flygon lashed out with his faint attack, a move that lands without fail.

[Hatarou]

A sandstorm had brewed up from the Flygon and had deflected it's dragon breath attack. It got angered at this since now the Flygon was hidden in the storm. It looked around and than had gotten hit by Flygon and it's Faint attack. This only angered the Archeops even further. "Archeops!" It than turned to the Flygon and sped toward it with teeth presented, it was preparing to use it's Crunch attack on the Flygon. Oh it had a small lucid fantasy oh it's sharp serrated teeth diving into it's enemies neck.

[Kenji]

Kenji smiled, this would be an easy win really, this pokemon just wanted something to eat, it had no idea how to actually fight. Flygon seemed to make a chuckling sound as well as the Archeops charged them again, Too easy... Kenji muttered and Flygon nodded, his right and left hands beginning to glow. The Archeops got closer and as it lunged forward to bite down, Flygon lashed out. He first punched the ancient bird on the right side of its face, knocking the crunch away, and followed up with a left punch into its stomach. Two dragon claws, Kenji thought, I would love to see it get up after that.

[Hatarou]

Archeops attack had failed but instead it had gotten hit hard by two dragon claws. The poor thing had fainted and started in a nose dive to the ground. Poor thing it had just fallen out of the sky. However a few Baltoys had seen the endangered pokemon and went out to go get it. They were successful and went to go put the injured Pokemon somewhere else, however one of the Baltoys had went up into the sky to go confront the attacker. "Baltoy!" It had pulled up several rocks from the ground and flung them toward Flygon it was using it's Ancient Power attack.

[Kenji]

Kenji chuckled, Tch, pathetic, nice job Flygon. Flygon nodded and headed towards the ground, after the Archeops to make sure it was down for good. Suddenly a Baltoy appeared infront of them and Flygon attempted to pull out of the dive, but it was too late. The Dragon/Ground pokemon took the Ancient Power head on. Luckily, it was a Rock attack, so the damage was next to nothing. Kenji told Flygon to land and pulled out a pokeball as he jumped from his dragon.

Kenji threw the pokeball and out popped Swampert, Hey there girl, I'm not in the mood to deal with this thing, mind killing it? Swampert nodded happily as she inhaled deeply and then exhaled a powerful water gun at the obnoxious Baltoy. Kenji looked to Flygon and said, Wait for a minute and then go in for a faint attack if the thing dodges the water gun. Flygon nodded and waited to see what the Baltoy did.

[[So Swampert is attacking, if Baltoy dodges then Flygon is attacking too.]]

[Hatarou]

The Baltoy in laymen terms didn't stand a chance. It got hit by the swampert's powerful Water Gun. "Baltoy..." It said as it fainted. All the noise had attracted another pokemon though, "Donphan!" It saw the trainer and it's pokemon and wanted them off it's territory. It walked backwards and charged forward it than rolled into a ball and started to use rollout. It rolled rolled and rolled at a very high speed. 'Donphan!!!" It than collided with Swampert knocking it over. After it rolled over Swampert it started rolling again but even more fierce in velocity and aimed itself once again at the Swampert.

[Kenji]

Kenji smiled, Useless piece of crap, I knew it couldn't handle Swampert's impressive power. Suddenly the trees and brush on his right broke apart to reveal a Donphan on a collision course for Swampert. Kenji called out to warn his pokemon but it was too late, Swampert fell to the ground. However the pokemon hadn't taken much damage at all, considering her type advantage. Swampert was back on her feet in no time and ready to let loose another water gun as the Donphan turned back to strike again.

WAIT SWAMPERT!!! Kenji called before his pokemon unleashed her attack, Catch it this time, and then use water gun, it won't be able to dodge. Swampert nodded and got in a catcher's position as Donphan came closer. As the two pokemon were about to collide, Swampert put out her hands and caught the elephant like pokemon in a bear hug before unleashing a powerful water gun, less than an inch away from the Donphan. She had sustained some damage, but nothing to really worry about at all.

[Hatarou]

Swampert had caught the Donphan however it still was spinning very rapidly. Swampert was preparing to use a water gun and Donphan knew it. Donphan started to rotate even faster that smoke was starting to rise from Swamperts hands. "Donnnnnn!" Swampert released it's water gun onto donphan. The water had hit the rotating Donphan and it did barely anything the water had spread out because of the speed of the rolling pokemon. After the water gun ceased Donphan had decided to go in reverse and it did just that. The Swampert let go finally and nDonphan gained some ground and unrolled itself. It started to stomp the ground multiple times and had started a small earthquake thru out the field.

[Kenji]

FLYGON! Kenji called to his dragon flying above the field, watching the battle. Flygon nodded and swooped down, picking Swampert up before the Earthquake hit. Kenji, who didn't have time to be picked up by Flygon, held onto a tree. Luckily he wasn't very close to Donphan so no harm done. Meanwhile, Flygon was beginning to get tired of holding Swampert and all her muscle. So, Flygon flew quickly towards Donphan and Swampert nodded as she understood what he was doing. She got ready as Flygon released her and she dropped to the ground, directly over Donphan. Like a kamkiaze bomber she dropped upon him with a powerful Take Down attack.

[Maximillion]

The wild Dolphan got scared, seeing how the water/ ground pokemon was falling towards it. It was about to run away, but it realized that it could not. Instead it decided to go with a fast attack that would strike Swampert and move it away from its target. The pokemon's mouth started freezing... As the seconds passed and Swampert had almost reached it it shouted "Donphan!" as it unleashed an Ice Shard attack towards its opponent in an attempt to redirect it from the way it was falling and protect itself.

[Kenji]

Swampert was hit by the ice shards and knocked out of the sky, and off course. She was hurting bad, and Flygon saw this, growling angrily he appeared behind Donphan and lashed out with his tail, a faint attack. However, Flygon didn't stop there, he also added in a dragon claw coming in from the left. Donphan, you really shouldn't have pissed off Flygon. Kenji chuckled as Flygon went insane with anger, he didn't enjoy his friends getting hurt. Swampert was back on her feet, and readied a water gun in case Donphan was stupid enough to stick around after he got his ass handed to him by Flygon.

[Maximillion]

The wild Donphan was not surprised to see that it was attacked by the pokemon that tried to help Swampert defeat it. Noticing that it had moved behind it, the pokemon decided that it was about time for it to end the battle that had just started between itself and Flygon. Before the Faint Attack was performed, the ground type pokemon turned its head towards Flygon. It said "Donphan~!" as it launched a barrage of Ice Shards (Ice Shard twice) towards it in an attempt to knock it out... And as Ice Shard was a priority move, it was performed much faster than the combination of Faint Attack and Dragon Claw...

[Kenji]

Flygon smiled as the ice shard came towards him, he had been expecting this. He broke one with his dragon claw, but the second Ice Shard hit home, and Flygon was knocked back, 4x effective, it had done some serious damage. However, Flygon still stood, barely, but he did. Luckily, this had given Swampert the opportunity to attack from behind with a double water gun headed straight for the unsuspecting Donphan. Flygon, deciding he didn't want to get hit by another ice shard, flew into the air, awaiting Kenji's orders.
