The Search for a Dawn Stone!

Charm walked into the forest, nothing with her but a pokeball. Charm had left all her pokemon, even Tempest, at the pokemon center to heal. She had taken only her newest pokemon. This was speacial training for her. Charm noticed that training all her pokemon seperetly got her no where, the only pokemon who had made any real progress was Tempest, and that was only be four levels! This pokemon, her newest pokemon, would be one of her main contest battlers. She had all the moves planned out, which of her evolutions she would evolve into... Charm was very excited. "While we train, we can all so look for a Dawn Stone!" she said to the pokeball. "All right, go! Snowfall!" she said, as the pokeball opened and shot out a red beam.

The beam materialized into a Snorunt, which chattered nervously and glanced around the dark forest. But she was diffrent then most Snorunt, she was strangly colored earning the title of shiny. Charm smiled at the pokemon she had purchased recently from the same breeder she got Skyrah and Stormi from. "Hi Snow! We are having extra speacial training today all right? Just for you!" Charm bubbled, getting excited. Snow blinked. "Sno... Runt runt..." she murmered nervously. Charm smiled, she picked up Snow and carried her in her arms, walkign along a forest path. Both Charm and Snow kept there eyes open. Snow because she was scared of being ambushed, and Charm because she wanted to train and find a Dawn Stone.

As the ice pokemon and her trainer walked, a small, yellow, fuzz ball repelled from a tree on an odd white rope. It looked around, and chittered in frustration, it didn't like people much. The young Bachuru looked at Charm and Snowfall for a minute before descending to the ground behind them. It moved like a ninja, hiding behind trees and thick grass as it followed them. Then, Bachuru decided to make its move. The electric/bug type's tiny legs began moving extremely fast as it made its way out infront of Charm.

The pokemon looked at Charm and chattered a warning call to her before inhaling with a sound like it was about to spit a lugi. Then, the pokemon coughed something up and it flew towards Charm and Snowfall. It was a spider net, a thick white stringed net that would stop snowfall from moving. The pokemon had just used the move spider web.

Charm let out an "EEP!" when she firsts spotted the tiny pokemon, but then relized how cute it was. "Aww! Hello-" But then it shot its attack. "Hey! Not nice, counter with Powdered Snow!" Charm called. Frantically, Snow shot the attack at the net, freezing it solid. It fell and shattered. "Great counter attack, now lets use Powdered Snow again, on that Bachuru!" Snow nodded nervously, then shot the attack at the small spider pokemon. Charm was now smiling. Training's going great! Snow's gunna be a strong pokemon some day, I wish she had a little more confidence. she thought, just imagining the pretty and powerful Froslass Snow would some day be...

The Bachuru was mad now, Snowrunt had destroyed its beautiful web. It began to chatter angrily as the temperature dropped. The bug pokemon didn't notice, and charged forward with a leach life before being knocked down by a powerful gust of powder snow. Bachuru was knocked back into a nearby tree but recovered quickly, angrier than ever. It chattered something colorful at snowfall before charging in again. Suddenly the spider sparked with electricity and sent out a thunder wave towards Snow. It then jumped into the air and landed behind Snowrunt. It turned and lunged forward, going in for a leach life attack, trying to get some health back.

Snowfall was really offended and frightened by the colorful words... Though Charm didn't understand. But then came the two quick attacks, Charm couldn't let Snow get hurt so early in training. "Double team!" With that, the Snorunt vanished and multiplyed froming a circle around the Bachuru! Not only that but the Thunder wave it dodged was heading right at Bachuru... "Great! Now try another Powder Snow!" Snow fall was earnign a little confidence, and all the little doubles fired! "Snooo!"

Bachuru looked around confused, which was the real snorunt? It lunged at one on its right, but that turned out to be a copy. Then the spider remembered the thunder wave it had sent towards Snorunt and turned, only to be hit square in the face by the attack. The Bachuru's own attack effectively paralyzed it, pathetic. Bachuru looked at all the Snorunt's carefully, its movements had been slowed dramatically. Suddenly a great wind blew that carried snow pellets and Bachuru was knocked back into a tree. It landed, out cold and lay there motionless. Would Charm catch it, or let it rest?

Charm was glad her plan was affective. Then the Bachuru fainted... All the doubles returned to Snorunt. "Sn- snorunt!" she shreeked, gaining confidence. Charm patted her on the head. "Great job Snow. Let's keep going." Though Charm needed an Electric type, she was here to train Snow, not catch pokemon. Charm again hit the trail, walking past the Bachuru. Snow trailed behind her, a little happier it had done something right. All right, so Snow got a confidence boost. That's good... Now training can get serious. Charm thought, glancing behind her for a moment to look at the shiny Snorunt.

Misdreavus, who had been hiding and watching the whole time, decided to reveal itself after the battle was over. It was about to get far more serious than Charm wanted. Misdrevaus floated next to Charm and her Snowrunt for awhile, acting as if nothing was out of the ordinary. Suddenly, Misdrevaus turned and looked at Snowfall, it grew in size and made an odd face as it used its spite attack. Powder snow, being the last attack used, now might not work every time it was used, this could be a problem.

Charm let out a shreek as Misdreavus suddenly appeared and used Spite on Snow! "SNOOOO!" squeeled Snow, being scared of the Misdreavus. "Urgh! Were gunna get you back for that!!" Charm yelled at the Misdreavus. "All right, Snow use Double Team then try Powder Snow again!" Though the pokemon had a new found fear, she followed her trainers orders. She spread Doubles around Misdreavus, then tried a Powder Snow attack! Charm's hands where in fists because she was worried... I hope Spite wears off soon... but at least if the attack misses it, Misdreavus will have a hard time getting Snow while Double teams going on... Charms thoughts where busy as she waited to see if the attack would work, and what the tricky Misdreavus would do...

[Lunus]

The misdreavous was shocked as the powdered snow still worked, it was sure it had disabled it! Well the attack hit, even though the misdreavous had tried to dodge. To counter it sent a psywave at the Snorunt, but it could dodge it easier than misdreavous had tried with it's powdered snow, since it was concentrated on a smaller area, mainly Snorunt. Anyway what would Snorunt and Charm do?

"Yes! It worked!" Charm cheered, jumping up and down. "Snow, make sure that hits one of your doubles! We can't afford more damage!" One of the double team Snow's jumped, taking the Psywave attack. Charm giggled. "Double Team sure is handy, that would work great in a contest preformance... But nows not the time to think about that! Use Leer then try Powder Snow again!" Charm called out. I just hope it will work again! Snow nodded timidly, though was a bit happier she managed to use Powder Snow before. Snow absorbed her remaining doubles from her Double Team attack before... Then glared at the Misdreavus, a horrible death glare for a cute timid little Snorunt... She then took a deep breathe, and attempted to use Powder Snow on Misdreavus! Charm crossed her fingers and jumped up and down. Please please work! If Snow takes too much damage, we won't be able to train or find a Dawn Stone!

Spite took effect this time around, and Misdreavus seemed satisfied, despite having just hit one of Snow's doubles. It cried out loudly, victoriously, before snarling viciously. It's red and yellow eyes widened as it growled, attempting to strike fear into Snorunt's heart in order to shatter her defenses, and destroy her guard. "Mis-" The wild pokemon floated away slightly, smirking knowingly as the largest orb on it's necklace began to glow an eerie blood like hue. It was using psywave! A beam of pinkish purple energy shot forth, towards Snorunt. The heat it generated was weak, so it was apparent that this psywave attack in particular wouldn't do much. But, Snorunt probably wouldn't be able to handle much more than even that... Misdreavus was unlikely to hit another double, again.

Snow shrieked, very scared of the Misdreavus turning all creepy. Charm sighed, this was Misdreavus's scheme! "Don't fall for it Snow! She's just trying to freak you out! Ignore her, return that dirty look!" Snow was scared, but again put on her Go to Hell Leer face. She glared back at the Misdreavus, trying to scare the Misdreavus. Charm was proud that Snow was at least trying to be brave and stand up for her self. "Good job girl!" But then the Misdreavus sent out a Psywave! Charm frowned. "Crap, what to do..." she said aloud. "Hurry! Get out of the way!" Snorunt immedietly dropped her Leer attack and ran to the side, the Psywave blasted the ground... "Oh thank goodness..." Charm muttered, it was apparent the Misdreavus was much stronger then Snow. What to do... she thought. She didn't want to run away, and she kinda wanted to catch this Misdreavus... But if Snow fainted Charm would be out here all alone, that wouldn't be good. "Oh! I'm sorry Snow but we can't do this, lets get out of here and maybe we can find a Dawn Stone and some pokemon you can atcually fight with out fainting with one hit!" she screeched. Before either pokemon could react, Charm dashed forward, snatched Snow into her arms, and ran for the hills. She looked back for a moment. "Sorry Misdreavus, next time okay!? When shes a Froslass!" she called back, before running so fast the Misdreavus was soon out of site. (Coward XD)

Eventually, when she was sure the Misdreavus was far away, Charm stopped to rest. Tired from running while carrying her Snorunt... She sat down on the ground to get a breath and set Snow down. At frist the pokemon was baffled, then both releived and upset they had run from Misdreavus. Charm smiled after she stopped gasping for breathe. "Don't worry Snow, some day we can see that Misdreavus again and you can beat her! Okay?" Snow looked upset still, but nodded. After a bit of resting, and a snack of sandwhiches they had gotten from the pokemon center, Charm was back up. "All right! Let's keep going! You still need more training and I'm still looking for a dawn Stone, just for you! Now lets go!" Charm announced. Snow agreed. "Ruuunt!" The two began walking, Charm in front and Snow following behind, searching for training and the Dawn Stone!
