In Search of a Starly

[Viviana]

After evolving her eevee into an espeon through an intense training session, in nebula forest, Viviana Contreras, was in search of another flying type pokemon. She was just looking for a simple starly but something told her that this won't be as simple as she probably thought it would be, but life is full of difficult choices, some of which don't end well, but no need to bring up anything into existence right?

[Shiz]

Life is a bitch, and Viviana Contreras knew it... Finding a Starly wouldn't be such an easy task; especially with all of these other pokemon around. Not to mention that you were in a village ... Perhaps you should venture further into the forestry surrounding said village, in hopes that the pokemon around this area wouldn't be repelled passively by the humans? No sane pokemon would travel directly into a human inhabitance anyway -- even if they were certain that the people wouldn't harm them or try anything funny. It was instinctive, after having feared humans for the last who knows how long. As you walked through the village however, you did notice a few pokemon scattered here and there.

Namely Spearow and Caterpie. Not very popular, but still worth training against.

[Viviana]

Looking in the village where ever she could, Viviana was realizing that the village had a small population of pokemon, Maybe, she thought to herself for a moment as Espeon came out of its pokeball, If i go over there I might find what I am searching for. She walked to the end of the village seeing the occasional pokemon of caterpie and spearow. She could careless about the both of them. She had her eyes set on one pokemon, and that pokemon was starly. She went to the more forest inhabited area of the village where she thought more pokemon should be at. With espeon by her side she had little to worry about.

[Shiz]

Little to worry about, eh? Probably not the best thing to assume when in a forest full of dangerous pokemon that could lash out and devour you in a moment's time. One of said creatures had noticed you; it didn't like that you stepped out of bounds: meaning, you were in it's territory. Lucky for you it was kind of slow; but that wouldn't stop it from destroying you. A Scyther, one of more aggressive and irritable species of pokemon, watched you from a distance... It's eyes narrowed, it rubbed it's blades together, before creeping up behind you in hopes to get a sneak attack in.

[Viviana]

As espeon and Viviana proceeded on in the forest, they both had their guards up because this forest scared the crap out of Viviana and her guard up was good in the situation getting ready to occur. Espeon ears twitched as she stopped, vivi noticed the sudden stop and she stopped as well. She reached in her pocket and quickly grabbed a pokeball. She threw it in the air as she quickly turned around and noticed a Scyther amongst her. As the pokeball reached the maximum height of it being thrown, out came Krow, it swooped down to join Vivi and Espeon, that were face to face with a scary pokemon. Viviana stared at the blades on the Scyther's arms and gupled, but now was no time to be afraid.

"I wish I hadn't said nothing to worry about," Judgung by the scythers mean mug expression on its face Vivi knew it was looking for a fight so without hesitation, Vivi told krow to use pursuit and espeon use helping hand to give krow some extra encourage.

[Shiz]

The Scyther closed it's eyes, far more confident than you would have thought. However, it didn't seem to appreciate the fact that you were ganging up on it. With a wave of it's blade, you heard the bush to your left move around, it's leaves shaking. A Pinsir emerged, slamming it's pincers together threateningly. It didn't seem to appreciate your actions very much either. With a grunt, it gestured towards Murkrow. It wanted that bird for dinner -- and Scyther approached Espeon. The green bug smirked, raising one of it's blades in preparation. "Scy!" "Pin!" How dramatic~

[Viviana]

Looking at the next pokemon that had invited itself into the battle, Viviana had not anticipated this because she only wanted to use both of her pokemon to create a quick diversion to escape the clutches of the Scyther and continue her search for the starly, unfortunately, now she was a stuck. As she saw the the Scyther and Pinsir wanted to take on her pokemon by themselves, Viviana had to focus on the two pokemon while also focusing on her own pokemon. "Espeon!"~"Krow!" Her pokemon roared as they were excited and pumped about the battle. "Now Murkrow use pursuit on Pinsir and Espeon jump away from Scyther to gain some distance"

[Lunus]

It Seems bug pokemon just wanted to ruin your day huh? We'll firstly the Pinsir stopped your murkrows attack using vicegrip before the pursuit could connect. It then sort of threw Murkrow into a tree. Scyther however opted for a different approach, using quick attack to cover the distance and hen another to slam into the espeon quicker than you could follow. Gosh this battle could suck for you! Anyway what would you instruct your pokemon to do now? And would you be able to cope with a double battle?

[Viviana]

Seeing this battle commence and seeing the outcome of how everything was going down, viviana knew that espeon and murkrow could use a break. She returned the two to their pokeballs and grabbed two more pokeballs. Throwing the pokeballs they revealed, Chilly and Kibble. The very moment Viviana threw the pokeballs and the pokemon were released, she quickly told chilly to use Ice beam and have Kibble use Dig. The unexpected ice beam hit the scyther, and Vivi excluded the pinsir from the mix. As kibble dug under ground chillt jumped in the whole along with it.

[Lunus]

Hah! Bad idea. Whilst the ice beam hit scyther and slowed it somewhat woth both pokemon down the hole you were undefended. The pinsir came up from behind you and used yet another vice grip to stop you moving. This also disabled your arms as they were now pinned to your sides, that sucks! Maybe you could, I don't know, kick it in it's balls? If pinsirs had balls... Do they? I don't know. Anyway you surely were in a bind and the scyther was getting closer.

[Viviana]

The unexpected vicegrip that caught Vivi off guard was truly a dirty move. The pinsir was surely going to get what it deserved. Viviana struggled to get out of the pokemon's grip. It was somewhat hopeless. She yelled to gible and kumasyun and told them to fight side by side and focus on Scyther while she managed to take care of Pinsir. Kibble made various wholes in the ground scattered all over the place, while the last whole he made was targeted for Scyther, Kumasyun used another ice beam that was headed for Scyther as well.

[Maximillion]

As Pinsir was attacking Viviana the two other pokemon were ganging against Scyther! The situation was very bad for the Mantis Pokemon! As soon as it looked at the two pokemon attacking it at the same time it flinched! Even a tenacious pokemon like Scyther would flinch at the view of two pokemon ganging on it with some powerful moves. And so, as it was flinched, the pokemon was hit by the Ice Beam, taking much damage and falling unconscious! Scyther was finally defeated. However, there was still Pinsir...

[Viviana]

As the Scyther was on the ground unconcious, Kibble, decided to use dig on the Pinsir that had Vivi in its clutches. Kibble used and hit both Vivi and Pinsir with dig [Auto-hit used OCCly]. As they both flew in the air, Vivi felt free and she pushed herself out of the pinsir's claws, with cuts and bruises along the way during the process of the dreadful escape. That impact dropped all of Vivi's occupied pokeballs and one of her empty pokeballs that landed on the Scyther. Technically she wanted to capture the scyther anyways but atleast this way it was more...creative? When pinsir was in the air, Chilly decided to help out Viviana as she kinda hit the ground hard. Before hand Chilly saw the Pokeball next to the scyther and picked it up, after that, thats when he helped his trainer stand to her feet and hand her the empty pokeball.

[Maximillion]

Pinsir was send to the air by the dig attack. However, as the attack was not very effective to it, it still had much strength to battle. It looked towards the Gible with an angry face and said "Pinsir!!!". The last attack made it very mad. It wanted to take its revenge on the dragon type pokemon and it knew exactly the way to do so. It started running towards Gible with much speed and started using Revenge. The power of the fighting type move was doubled as Pinsir was hit before. The battle between Gible and Pinsir had just started!

[Viviana]

Viviana threw the empty pokeball at the unconscious scyther hoping to catch while she knew that Pinsir was still conscious and battling Kibble. As the pokeball hit the scyther, vivi told chilly to keep a close eye on it. She started to instruct Kibble as she told it to use sandstorm, and then sand tomb on the Pinsir. Hopefully if the attacks managed to hit Kibble and Viviana both will beable to still go on with there battle against the big clawed, bug type pokemon that ferociously attacked out of nowhere.

[Maximillion]

Despite the fact that Gible tried its best to stop Pinsir, the bug type pokemon was still running forward towards it in an attempt to strike it with its Revenge attack and make it fall unconscious, after dodging the two incoming attacks.

At the same time Scyther entered the pokeball. The pokeball started moving around quickly. It moved once and it stopped. Two seconds later, it moved once again and it stopped. Some seconds later it moved once more and it stopped... If it moved once more, the trainer would catch the mantis pokemon... And so she did! The pokeball stopped shaking! Scyther was finally caught!

[Viviana]

After hearing the ball click informing chilly that the pokemon had been caught, chilly picked the ball up and gave it to vivi who was in the middle of a battle with her companion Kibble. She looked at it as it magically transported away to the pc, she forgot that she had 6 pokemon in her team already but aside from that, Chilly jumped out of nowhere and jumped infront of Kibble telling it that it wanted to battle the Pinsir, it said that anyone that lays a finger on its trainer will have to deal with it. Kibble smiled and stepped aside as Chilly charged its powder snow and shot it at the Pinsir hoping to land a direct hit.

[Maximillion]

The bug type pokemon saw through the Powder Snow and with some quick movements it jumped to the air and dodged the attack before it was hit. Then, as it landed on the ground it shouted "Pinsir!" while hitting its two pincers together to show its wrath and its fury to the ice type pokemon. And so, the pokemon started moving towards Chilly, this time, in an attempt to strike it with a Revenge attack.

[Viviana]

Seeing the futile attack being made by the infamous bug type pokemon Pinsir, Viviana knew the phrase 'Quick on your toes' suited this battle very well. She looked as the Powder snow was dodged by the pesky bug so she quickly managed to tell her Chilly, to use ice beam. Before hand she scoped the area.
"Chilly, Use Ice beam on the ground in front of Pinsir" Chilly did so as the pinsir used revenge. The ground in front of pinsir froze and turned into solid ice. Hoping pinsir would slip viviana told Chilly to jump in the air and use Ice beam again.

[Maximillion]

What a coincidence! As soon as the ground got frozen in front of the pokemon, it actually slipped and fell on the ground, stopping its previous attack and leaving itself completely open to take any kinds of attacks. And so, as Chilly used the Ice Beam, the bug type pokemon took an incredible amount of damage falling unconscious immediately. It was finally defeated. Now, it is up to the trainer to decide what to do with it...

[Viviana]

The battle was fun, but viviana's goal was to catch a starly, finding and fighting this pinsir, a bug type pokemon, was quite an adventure, but its agressiveness was to much for Viviana which is why she had to leave it where it was, but in return she left whole pile of berries next to eat for it to eat when it wakes up. She continued further in the forest hoping to find that Starly, it was her prime objective.

[Maximillion]

As Viviana was walking in the forest, she got lucky once more. A bunch of wild Starlies appeared and started flying around her. The view was quite unique. The Starly were flying in a circular way like they were dancing in the air. After they stopped with their weird but beautiful dance, the birds left. However, there was one that did not leave... Instead, it moved downwards were the trainer happened to be and sat on the brunch of a tree in order to sleep.

[Viviana]

From earlier experience, Viviana kind of had a sense on how to approach individual pokemon based on looks, personality, and attentiveness. She took a less, somewhat more direct approach with the starly as she wanted to make peace with it. She smiled at it and offered it some berries as she wanted to make it know she meant no harm at all as she crept closer to it maker sure not to frighten it. She sent out her espeon and her eevee, so they can explain how good of a trainer she is.

[Shiz]

Although Espeon was silent for the most part in regards to sneaking up on the snoozing Starly- you weren't. Stepping on a fallen branch and snapping it in two, the sound echoed throughout the surrounding area; causing the flying type to wake up with a start. It looked down on you, realizing you were sneaking up on it... Or at least, trying to. And of course, it was only natural for a wild pokemon to believe that when a human is sneaking up on them- they meant to catch and or battle them. This Starly assumed just that: and it was at least half right. It squawked, flapping it's wings vigorously before diving downwards and towards Eava, who was left completely off guard due to the suddenness of the situation.

Starly stopped in it's path abruptly, angling it's wings and thrusting them forward in a jerking fashion- sending two large twister like gusts of wind towards Espeon and yourself.

[Viviana]

She had to be quick on her toes. She looked at the sudden attack made by the Espeon, and saw some disadvantages in this undergoing battle. She quickly retreated espeon as a ground-aerial battle was truly not suiting viviana, plus Espeon didn't really have its psychic attacks to even the odds. She then sent out Murkrow as her next pokemon in the battle. The gust nearly blew viviana back a bit as she shielded her eyes with her are to avoid the contact of the stir of dust and dirt in the air. She told murkrow to use Pursuit as she stared the starly down. Now it was her who was getting pissed.
