POTW #3 - Red Pokemon?

Last week our winner was Zorua, which had been nominated by Milo. Despite having been banned, her nomination was placed on the widget on the right side of the forum. Her prize will be added to this week's pot!

A general topic, but one I personally haven't seen before. This week's nominations should all be categorized as red. Many examples would be fire types, such as Vulpix, and Magby.

Please note that this doesn't have to be entirely objective. If a pokemon is listed in the dex as a certain colour, even if other members don't think said colour is accurate -- it is still a valid nomination.

Nomination: Charizard



Reasoning:

Bad. Ass.

Nobody who had or even has a childhood can say that Charizard didn't make a lasting impact on them. Charmander, Charmeleon -- and finally, Charizard. The three of them make up one of the most popular evo chain, even today. And they're still popular after so many years for a reason ... And what's that? Because they're bad ass. It may not go for most Charizard; but I know for a fact that Ash's Charizard is beast. Or a pimp ... Or both.

Nomination: Latias


Reason: Why? CAUSE SHE'S FREAKIN' AWESOME! I need more? Crud. Well Latias is really freaking awesome due to a wide variety of reason! One for examples is that she (Along with Latios) Were the coolest pokemon to come out of Generation 3. To boot the two have the Psychic/Dragon type combination! This combo of types gives them the ability to use damn near every type of move! In the anime Latias is also given one of the sweetest abilities! She can freaking bend light O8. She can make herself invisible or take on the form of another! I mean come on that is pretty freaking awesome right? x3

Nomination: Victini

Reason: Victini is one of the cutest pokemon that happen to come out in the fifth generation. It is one of the cute pokemon that use to come out in every new generation and it also has a unique type that only itself and Darumanitan (although under certain circumstances) have. Also, Victini has a unique ability that does not help itself but instead it helps its teammates, Victory Star. Finally, it is the only pokemon to have TWO signature moves. The first move, Blaze Judgement is a fire type move that has great power and 100% accuracy and can also burn the opponent with a 30% chance, while the second move, V-Generate, is the strongest move a pokemon can learn (180 Power) without knocking out itself. Who wouldn't like this pokemon? :D
